Keep Expecting
Life often moves quickly, and before we realise it, time has already passed. Looking at the calendar, we are already in March. Two months of the year 2026 have gone by. In those two months, a lot may have already happened. Some people have experienced serious discouragement, unexpected setbacks, or difficult challenges. These challenges may be financial, health-related, marital, or career-related.
When difficulties come early in the year, it becomes very easy to lose enthusiasm. It becomes easy to lose focus, lose motivation, and lose the excitement we had when the year began. Dreams that felt possible in January may suddenly feel distant by February.
But the word for this week is simple and powerful: Keep expecting. Scripture in Proverbs 23:18 The Amplified Bible says: “Surely there is a future and a reward, and your hope and expectation will not be cut off.” The New English Translation reads: “For surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off.” These words carry a powerful promise. They remind us that no matter what we are experiencing right now, our current situation is not the final chapter of our story.
The scripture begins with a strong assurance: “Surely there is a future.” This means what you are facing right now is not the end of the matter. It may feel like things are not moving forward. Your plans may seem delayed. Your efforts may appear unnoticed. But God’s Word reminds us that there is still a future ahead.
There is a future for that career that seems stagnant.
There is a future for that dream you have been working on.
There is a future beyond the health challenge you are facing.
There is a future for your life.
Difficult seasons can sometimes make us feel trapped in the present moment. But the Bible invites us to lift our eyes and look beyond the current circumstances. Your story is still unfolding. The verse does not stop with the promise of a future. It goes further and says there is also a reward.
This means that your effort is not wasted. Your commitment is not in vain. The time you invest in your dreams, your plans, and your calling will produce results.
There is a reward for: Your hard work, Your persistence, Your discipline, Your planning, and Your faithfulness. Every step you take toward your purpose matters. Even when progress feels slow, God sees your diligence and promises that there is a reward ahead. The scripture says, “Your Expectation Will Not Be Cut Off” Some Bible translations say, “your hope will not be disappointed.” This means setbacks do not cancel your destiny. Challenges do not eliminate God’s plans for your life. Even if January and February were difficult months, they do not determine the outcome of your entire year.
A rough beginning does not mean a failed ending. Your expectations for breakthrough, progress, healing, and success are still valid. The promise of God stands firm: your hope will not be cut off. Keep Expecting. Keep expecting great things. Keep expecting miracles, keep expecting breakthroughs.
Do not allow the challenges you faced earlier in the year to define the rest of your journey. Instead, keep working on your dream. Keep pursuing your vision, keep developing your plans, keep honouring your commitments, keep moving forward with faith, do not give up, do not quit, and do not throw in the towel.
Keep expecting.
God bless you, and Keep living life In Abundance.
